Capirsi Down Monza

Illustrated Facade Panels
BRIEF

Capirsi Down Monza is a non-profit association that supports young people with Down syndrome through educational, creative, and autonomy-building activities. Their headquarters is a daily place of growth, inclusion, and relationship  but the exterior did not reflect the energy and value of what happens inside.
The facade was deteriorated and visually anonymous, and due to permit restrictions it was not possible to paint directly on the wall.
The need was to create a strong, welcoming visual identity element able to give visibility, dignity, and recognition to the space, while symbolically representing growth, diversity, and potential.

The solution

I developed a colorful illustrated concept inspired by vibrant, imaginative plants and organic shapes, a metaphor for personal growth and for the supportive ecosystem the association builds around its students.
To comply with technical and legal constraints, the artwork was produced on painted PVC panels mounted onto the facade, ensuring high visual impact and allowing future removal or relocation.

process

The project began with a participatory painting phase involving the association’s students, who contributed to the base layers of the panels. I then completed and refined the illustration and supervised the final exterior installation.
