Bergamo per i Giovani

mural
BRIEF

“Da grande voglio fare…” is a youth orientation event promoted by the city of Bergamo together with Bergamo per i Giovani.
The goal of the day was to introduce students to different professional paths through direct encounters with practitioners.

I was invited to present the work of a mural artist and to design a hands-on activity that would allow participants to experience a real large-scale creative process — not just as observers, but as active contributors. Since no walls were available for painting, the project required an alternative surface and a flexible setup.

the idea

I created two large-format illustrations representing possible future paths for young people across different fields — including research, new technologies, and sport.
To make the experience practical and accessible, I prepared the artwork on a very large canvas instead of a wall. The canvas was installed on site and used as a shared painting surface, where participants could experiment directly with brushes, color, and scale.

The activity combined career storytelling and real mural workflow, giving students a concrete understanding of tools, phases, and creative decision-making in large-scale illustration.
